Paris in a day: walking tour from East to West
Starting from your hotel, we will head to the Marais district: Place des Vosges, the traditional Jewish district, some of the most spectacular mansions of the 16th century will be seen on the way.Then we will head South towards the river, walk across Saint Louis island and admire the unique view on Notre Dame cathedral.
Then on to the oldest bridge in the city, through a hidden square and following the river to the nearby Louvre Palace: as spectacular outside as it is inside. As we cross its courtyards we will travel through 800 years of history, all the way to the Tuileries garden and truly spectacular Concorde square.
One more effort to reach the bottom of the Champs Elysées and enjoy the dazzling view:Champs Elysées on one side, Invalides golden dome on the other side.The only view we are missing is the Eiffel tower so let's hop on the metro or bus and head to Trocadero square which offers THE view over the tower.
