Brooklyn Bridge and Beyond in Brooklyn and Manhattan

Let's walk the iconic Brooklyn Bridge, take in the view, and explore the historic and visually stimulating areas that abut it. On the Manhattan side is elegant City Hall, built in 1812 making it the country's oldest city hall, and the majestic and significant buildings that surround it, as well as nearby Chinatown.

On the Brooklyn side is charming Brooklyn Heights, considered America's first suburb, and Brooklyn Bridge Park which affords magnificent views of the bridge and the lower Manhattan skyline across the East River. The park connects the Heights to DUMBO (Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Underpass), an area of imposing industrial structures that have been converted to highly desirable luxury housing and popular restaurants and shops.
